Hi there! My name is Allison, and I run. I currently live around Raleigh, NC, and attend N.C. State University. I’ve run off and on since November 2005, but the fanaticism started in January 2008.
I did the whole race thing backwards–I ran a full marathon before I had ever run a 10K or half-marathon, and then I started running half-marathons after my marathon experience. My favorite shoe brand is Saucony (probably because that’s the only brand I’ve ever owned), and I think Under Armour compression shorts are the best invention ever.
When I’m not running I’m usually studying. I try to trust God with my future and everything I do in the present. I own a dwarf hamster, Barney, who also loves to run (on a hamster wheel).
